The John Lawrie Group is supporting Zero Waste Scotland as it seeks to attract ideas and applications from the oil and gas industry for its Circular Economy Investment Fund.

John Lawrie Environmental Director, Ray Grant and Centrica plc were chosen to deliver presentations about the Circular Economy at a special workshop held in the incredible Innovation Zone at The Oil & Gas Technology Centre in Aberdeen (Wed, 21 November 2017).

A circular economy is one in which everything has value and nothing is wasted, and new business models move away from the old patter of ‘take, make and dispose.’

To accelerate sustainable growth in the Scottish energy sector, Zero Waste Scotland is inviting grant applications for £50,000 to £1 million for capital expenditure projects that keep energy assets and materials in high-value use for as long as possible. This funding is being offered as part of the £18m Circular Economy Investment Fund, which comprises support from the Scottish Government and the European Regional Development Fund.
